Labourer - food and beverage processing

Antojitos Wholesale Foods Inc. in Lethbridge, AB is inviting applications for the position of Labourer - food and beverage processing. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must have food safety and handling skills.
• The candidate must transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials.
• The candidate must measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines.
• The candidate must feed flattened boxes into forming machines to construct containers.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must manually pack goods into bags, boxes, or other containers.
• The candidate must feed and unload processing machines.
• The candidate must check products and packaging for basic quality defects.
• The candidate must assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties.
• The candidate must clean machines and immediate work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• No experience required. The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be well-organized.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
