Kitchen manager

Villa Le Reflet ( Victoriaville, QC) is currently looking for a skilled Kitchen manager. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
• The candidate must supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
• The candidate must train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• The candidate must ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• The candidate must train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must have strong time management skills.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in chronic or long-term care facilities to provide care, support residents’ health, and assist staff.
