Old Man Pho Vietnamese Restaurant is situated in Powell River, BC and is hiring a Kitchen helper to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Shift timings include: Morning, Day, Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• The candidate must sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
• The candidate must package take-out food.
• The candidate must portion and wrap foods.
• The candidate must prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
• The candidate must use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
• The candidate must clean and sanitize kitchens, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• The candidate must receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
• The candidate must remove kitchen garbage and trash.
• The candidate must wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
