Job Description

  • The candidate must bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set up tables accordingly.
  • The candidate must clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
  • The candidate must load buspans and trays as required.
  • The candidate must operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • The candidate must place dishes in storage areas.
  • The candidate must replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • The candidate must sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • The candidate must scour pots and pans.
  • The candidate must keep records of the quantities of food used.
  • The candidate must package take-out food.
  • The candidate must portion and wrap foods.
  • The candidate must prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
  • The candidate must serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • The candidate must stock refrigerators and salad bars.
  • The candidate must take customers’ orders.
