dirty northern public house in Whitehorse, YT is inviting applications for the position of Kitchen helper. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Required shifts: Overtime required, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set up tables accordingly.
• The candidate must use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
• The candidate must clean and sanitize kitchens, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• The candidate must receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
• The candidate must remove kitchen garbage and trash.
• The candidate must sharpen kitchen knives.
• The candidate must sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• The candidate must wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
