LIVE WELL Exercise Clinic is situated in New Westminster, BC and is hiring a Kinesiologist to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Morning, Evening.

Job Description

• The candidate must consult with other healthcare professionals to evaluate treatment plans.
• The candidate must interview patients to obtain relevant information.
• The candidate must accurately record observations.
• The candidate must review reports from healthcare professionals to determine patients’ current and potential functioning levels.
• The candidate must write detailed progress reports.
• The candidate must perform administrative tasks.
• The candidate must prepare individualized treatment plans for each patient.
• The candidate must provide education to clients regarding health promotion, injury prevention, management, and treatment.
• The candidate must implement approved treatment plans.
• The candidate must analyze patient responses during treatment sessions.
• The candidate must initiate, design and implement specialized therapy programs.
• The candidate must design specialized therapy programs to maintain, rehabilitate, or enhance movement, musculoskeletal function, and performance in sports, work, and recreational activities.
• The candidate must supervise patients’ exercise routines.
• The candidate must teach and/or supervise exercises to patients.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be adaptable.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a fitness centre to assist clients with exercise programs, maintain equipment, and ensure a safe and supportive environment for all members.
