Job Description

The candidate must install domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
The candidate must repair domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
The candidate must read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network, and waste and drainage systems.
The candidate must instruct apprentices.
The candidate must cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
The candidate must join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering, brazing, or welding equipment.
The candidate must test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
The candidate must determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
The candidate must supervise other workers.
The candidate must measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size.

Job Requirements

The candidate must be fluent in English.
The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
Or equivalent experience.
