Journeyman/woman carpenter

Palladio Building Services in Calgary, AB is seeking a self-motivated Journeyman/woman carpenter. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a Registered Apprenticeship certificate.
• The candidate must have 3 to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must uphold values and ethics.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in construction trades and crafts, including bricklaying, stonemasonry, carpentry, joinery, demolition, electrical work, painting and decorating, plumbing, scaffolding, steeple jacking, and wall and floor work.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.

Transportation/travel information

• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
