Now hiring: Jeweller at JC Bradley Jewellers LTD in Vernon, BC. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must clean parts using specialized cleaning solutions and ultrasonic or mechanical cleaning equipment.
• The candidate must appraise gemstones and diamonds to identify rare specimens and assess value.
• The candidate must examine, cut, shape and polish diamonds and precious or synthetic gems.
• The candidate must fabricate and repair jewellery made of precious and semi-precious metals.
• The candidate must conduct quality control.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.

Work Setting

• The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
• The candidate must work in a jewellery store to provide customer service, manage valuable inventory, and ensure secure and professional operations.
