Now hiring: Ironworker at Broncos Rebar in Abbotsford, BC. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms.
• The candidate will be responsible for guiding crane operators to place units as per blueprints.
• The candidate must align, weld or bolt units securely in place.
• The candidate will be responsible for inspecting and testing structures and equipment to identify deterioration, defects, or non-compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
• The candidate will be responsible for positioning and securing steel bars or metal mesh within concrete forms to reinforce concrete structures.
• The candidate must unload and position steel units for hoisting operations.
• The candidate must read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must have 3 to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
