CDC Computers is situated in Winnipeg, MB and is hiring a Inventory control clerk to join the team. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Work schedule: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must complete sales transactions.
• The candidate must keep shop and warehouse clean.
• The candidate must perform routine clerical duties.
• The candidate must process files and paperwork.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must provide information on available materials.
• The candidate must calculate costs of orders.
• The candidate must charge or forward invoices to appropriate accounts.
• The candidate must complete and process international purchase orders.
• The candidate must prepare and maintain purchasing files, reports, and records.
• The candidate must prepare purchase orders.
• The candidate must process purchases.
• The candidate must resolve delivery and supplier issues.
• The candidate must review requisition orders for accuracy.
• The candidate must set up and maintain inventory control systems.
• The candidate must verify stock availability from current inventories.
• The candidate must compile inventory reports.
• The candidate must conduct quality control.
• The candidate must dispose of and account for outdated stock.
• The candidate must maintain stock rotation.
• The candidate must monitor inventory levels of issued materials and stocks.
• The candidate must pack items for shipping and distribution.
• The candidate must place stock on shelves.
• The candidate must prepare inventory costs, retail pricing, and profit reports.
• The candidate must prepare requisition orders to replenish stock.
• The candidate must reconcile physical inventories with computer counts.
• The candidate must record the quantity, type, and value of stock on hand using computerized or manual inventory systems.
• The candidate must unpack goods received.
• The candidate must verify receipts and packing slips.

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The candidate should be client-focused.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a repair and service establishment to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and maintain equipment or products.
• The candidate must work in a retail service establishment.
• The candidate should work in a retail/wholesale establishment/distribution center handling products from manufacturers or wholesalers, organizing them, and shipping them to their final destinations as quickly as possible.
• The candidate must work in a wholesale store to manage inventory, support sales operations, and assist customers.
