Inventory clerk

M&M Food Market is situated in Whitby, ON and is hiring a Inventory clerk to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Shift timings include: Day, Night, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must keep shop and warehouse clean.
• The candidate must prepare and maintain purchasing files, reports, and records.
• The candidate must prepare purchase orders.
• The candidate must verify stock availability from current inventories.
• The candidate must monitor inventory levels of issued materials and stocks.
• The candidate must place stock on shelves.
• The candidate must prepare inventory costs, retail pricing, and profit reports.
• The candidate must prepare requisition orders to replenish stock.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a supermarket, including the meat department, to handle food preparation, ensure product quality, assist customers, and maintain safe and organized work areas.
• The candidate should work in a supermarket/grocery store self-service shop offering a wide variety of food, beverages, and household products, organized into sections.
