Interior plantscape specialist

Now hiring: Interior plantscape specialist at Strait's Tropical Interiors Inc. in Stouffville, ON. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Position status: Casual employment - Part time. Flexible availability required for: Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
• The candidate must apply various treatments to trees, such as pruning, spraying, repairing damaged areas, and injecting treatment solutions.
• The candidate must pot and re-pot plants.
• The candidate must apply fertilizers.
• The candidate must clean work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
• The candidate should work in an office building; quality workspace design leads to a less stressful and more productive atmosphere.
