Finish First Installations Ltd in Newport, NS is inviting applications for the position of Interior finish carpenter. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must prepare layouts in conformance with building codes, using measuring tools.
• The candidate must measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
• The candidate must supervise other workers.
• The candidate must maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
