SWIFT MECHANICAL SERVICES INC. ( Woodbridge, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Insulator. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time.

Job Description

• The candidate must select the type of insulation required.
• The candidate must measure and cut insulating materials to required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools.
• The candidate must apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping, and other application and installation methods.
• The candidate must fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs.
• The candidate must install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials.
• The candidate must fabricate and apply removable insulation pads and covers.
• The candidate must assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment.
• The candidate must read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
