K V DRYWALL & TAPING LTD is situated in Edmonton, AB and is hiring a Insulator to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity.

Job Description

• The candidate must read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must measure and cut insulating materials to required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools.
• The candidate must fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs.
• The candidate must install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials.
• The candidate must brush waterproofing cement or other materials over insulating materials.
• The candidate must remove asbestos, ceramic fibres, lead, mould, and urea-formaldehyde insulation materials from buildings.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.

• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
