Oxford Frozen Foods in Oxford, NS is inviting applications for the position of Industrial plant cleaner. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Flexible availability required for: Day, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and refuse.
• The candidate must perform safety and security checks.
• The candidate must clean and maintain equipment.
• The candidate must have food safety and handling skills.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must work in all weather conditions.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a factory or plant.
• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
