Oxford Frozen Foods in Oxford, NS is inviting applications for the position of Industrial plant cleaner. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Day, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and refuse.
• The candidate must perform safety and security checks.
• The candidate must clean and maintain equipment.
• The candidate must have food safety and handling skills.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Equivalent professional experience accepted.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must work in all weather conditions.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a factory or plant.
• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
