Industrial mechanic

Global Beverage & Logistics Centre Inc. in Mississauga, ON is seeking a self-motivated Industrial mechanic. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must assemble mechanical equipment.
• The candidate must detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions.
• The candidate must read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must repair or replace defective machinery parts.
• The candidate must perform routine maintenance work on machinery.
• The candidate must operate machining tools to fabricate parts.
• The candidate must program programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• The candidate must install machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must operate hoisting and lifting equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• Equivalent professional experience accepted.
• The candidate must have successfully completed studies related to general mechanics and repairers.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.
