Industrial mechanic

Rouge River Farms in Gormley, ON is inviting applications for the position of Industrial mechanic. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Evening.

Job Description

• The candidate must detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions.
• The candidate must read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must repair or replace defective machinery parts.
• The candidate must fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up.
• The candidate must perform routine maintenance work on machinery.
• The candidate must install machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must replace or recondition shafts, bearings, commutators, and other components.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
