Hydraulic unit repairer

Apex Hydraulics Inc. is situated in Etobicoke, ON and is hiring a Hydraulic unit repairer to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend, On call, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must inspect products to determine the requirements for repair.
• The candidate must repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components using hand, power, or specially designed tools.
• The candidate must test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning.
• The candidate must calibrate products using hand tools.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

Work Setting

• The candidate must focus on repair work, restoring damaged, deteriorated, or broken items to good condition.
• The candidate must work in a service environment, performing job duties within the setting, social interactions, and physical conditions required by the role.
