Boulet Sheet Metal Ltd. in Sunnyside, MB is seeking a self-motivated HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) mechanic. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Flexible availability required for: Day, Weekend, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must install ventilation, air handling, and air conditioning systems.
• The candidate must interpret blueprints or other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation.
• The candidate must read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must troubleshoot heating systems.
• The candidate must troubleshoot ventilation, air handling, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems.
• The candidate must assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must start up systems and test for leaks using testing devices.
• The candidate must perform maintenance such as recharging systems with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators, or calibrating systems.
• The candidate must handle, recover, and store refrigerants.
• The candidate must repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, or heat pump systems.

• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Equivalent experience is acceptable.
