Housekeeping supervisor

Canadas Best Value Inn & Suites in Kamloops, BC is seeking a self-motivated Housekeeping supervisor. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must supervise and coordinate the activities of workers.
• The candidate must inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards.
• The candidate must recommend or arrange for additional services required, such as painting, repair work, renovations, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
• The candidate must assist cleaners in performing duties.
• The candidate must coordinate work activities with other departments.
• The candidate must establish work schedules.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
