Now hiring: Housekeeping attendant at HOTEL MOTEL NORDIC in Chibougamau, QC. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Shift timings include: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• The candidate must dust furniture.
• The candidate must vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
• The candidate must make beds and change sheets.
• The candidate must distribute clean towels and toiletries.
• The candidate must stock linen closets.
• The candidate must clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• The candidate must clean and disinfect elevators.
• The candidate must handle and report lost and found items accurately.
• The candidate must pick up debris and empty trash containers.
• The candidate must wash windows, walls, and ceilings.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must uphold values and ethics.
