Housekeeping attendant

Mountains and Meadows Care Group in Bridgetown, NS is seeking a self-motivated Housekeeping attendant. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. We are offering a Term or contractPart time opportunity. The schedule involves Day, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• The candidate must dust furniture.
• The candidate must vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
• The candidate must clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• The candidate must clean and disinfect elevators.
• The candidate must handle and report lost and found items accurately.
• The candidate must pick up debris and empty trash containers.
• The candidate must launder clothing and household linens.
• The candidate must wash windows, walls, and ceilings.

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
