Best Western Plus Merritt Hotel in Merritt, BC is seeking a self-motivated Housekeeper. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Required shifts: Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• The candidate must dust furniture.
• The candidate must vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
• The candidate must make beds and change sheets.
• The candidate must stock linen closets.
• The candidate must clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• The candidate must handle and report lost and found items accurately.
• The candidate must attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items.
• The candidate must pick up debris and empty trash containers.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
• The candidate must clean changing rooms and showers.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
