Job Description
- The candidate must register arriving guests and assign rooms.
- The candidate must resolve complaints and claims.
- The candidate must process group arrivals and departures.
- The candidate must take, cancel, and change room reservations.
- The candidate must provide information on hotel facilities and services.
- The candidate must provide general information about points of interest in the area.
- The candidate must exchange foreign currency.
- The candidate must process guestsβ departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
- The candidate must balance cash, prepare balance sheets, cash reports, and related financial documentation.
- The candidate must maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
- The candidate must follow emergency and safety procedures.
- The candidate must perform clerical duties, including faxing, filing, and photocopying.
- The candidate must answer telephone calls and relay messages accurately.
- The candidate must assist clients/guests with special needs.
