Hotel manager

Sharptail Motor Inn ( Ashern, MB) is currently looking for a skilled Hotel manager. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations.
• The candidate must conduct performance reviews.
• The candidate must conduct training sessions.
• The candidate must negotiate with clients for the use of facilities.
• The candidate must prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses.
• The candidate must prepare marketing plans.
• The candidate must implement marketing activities.
• The candidate must arrange for and oversee maintenance activities.
• The candidate must enforce policies and procedures.
• The candidate must develop and implement business plans.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.

Work Setting

• The candidate must be able to work in a hotel, motel, or resort with additional sports and leisure facilities, set in a natural environment that attracts visitors beyond the accommodations.
