Hotel maintenance technician

Bear Hill Lodge in Jasper, AB is inviting applications for the position of Hotel maintenance technician. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Work schedule: Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours, To be determined, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
• The candidate must move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
• The candidate must perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
• The candidate must water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
• The candidate must clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
