EVELYN MANUEL in Richmond Hill, ON is seeking a self-motivated Home support worker. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. The schedule involves Morning, Evening, Flexible hours shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must administer medications as prescribed.
• The candidate must assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
• The candidate must assist in regular exercise, such as walking.
• The candidate must launder clothing and household linens.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must plan therapeutic diets and menus.
• The candidate must provide companionship.
• The candidate must provide personal care.
• The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• The candidate must cook meals as required.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The candidate must be punctual.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must have patience.
• The candidate must be honest.
