Shirley Maduro in Hamilton, ON is seeking a self-motivated Home support worker. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. We are offering a Term or contractFull time opportunity. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Flexible hours, To be determined shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must administer bedside and personal care to clients.
• The candidate must assist in regular exercise, such as walking.
• The candidate must feed or assist in feeding.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must provide companionship.
• The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be punctual.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must have patience.
• The candidate must be honest.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in various positions, including those that require sitting, standing, and walking, as well as those that involve physical activity.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
