Home support worker

Aide Chez Soi Royaume du Saguenay, Coopérative de solidarité in Chicoutimi, QC is seeking a self-motivated Home support worker. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Required shifts: Early morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must administer medications as prescribed.
• The candidate must assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
• The candidate must change non-sterile dressings.
• The candidate must launder clothing and household linens.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must provide companionship.
• The candidate must shop for food and household supplies.
• The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be punctual.
