Flordeliza Nicolas ( Calgary, AB) is currently looking for a skilled Home child care provider. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Position status: Term or contractFull time. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, On call shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must change diapers as required.
• The candidate must follow the parents’ guidance regarding toilet training.
• The candidate must sterilize bottles and prepare formulas.
• The candidate must assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must shop for food and household supplies.
• The candidate must travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
• The candidate must wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens.
• The candidate must bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.
• The candidate must discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
• The candidate must instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
• The candidate must keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children.
• The candidate must maintain a safe and healthy environment within the home.
• The candidate must organize activities such as games and outings for children.
• The candidate must prepare infants and children for rest periods.
• The candidate must supervise and care for children.
• The candidate must be responsible for transporting children safely to and from school, as well as to scheduled appointments.
• The candidate must attend to the emotional well-being of children.
• The candidate must help children with homework.
• The candidate must cook meals as required.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year.
