Helicopter pilot

Helicopter Transport Services Canada ( 5 Huisson RoadCarp, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Helicopter pilot. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. We are offering a Seasonal employment or Full time opportunity. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, On call, To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must fly fixed-wing aircraft or helicopters.
• The candidate must follow emergency procedures to compensate for equipment malfunction or failure.
• The candidate must monitor operation of engine and aircraft systems during flight.
• The candidate must record equipment malfunctions and corrective actions taken during flight.
• The candidate must report required repairs to ground maintenance personnel.
• The candidate must coordinate flight activities with ground crews and air-traffic control, inform crew members of flight procedures, and direct aircraft crew during flights.
• The candidate must conduct in-flight tests and monitor functioning of aircraft equipment and systems.
• The candidate must conduct pre-flight inspection of aircraft and check passenger and cargo distribution to ensure that weight and balance specifications are met.
• The candidate must contact control towers for takeoff clearances, arrival instructions, and other information.
• The candidate must maintain communications with flight dispatchers and weather forecasters and respond to and report in-flight emergencies and malfunctions.
• The candidate must operate heavy equipment.

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
• The candidate should work in staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees.
• The candidate must work from a remote location, performing their duties from a site other than the employer’s central office while maintaining productivity and communication.
• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
• The candidate must be able to work in the transportation sector.
• The candidate must work in public utilities to operate, maintain, and manage essential services, ensuring safe and reliable delivery to the community.
• The candidate must work in a power utility to operate, maintain, and monitor electrical systems, ensuring safe and reliable energy distribution.
• The candidate must work in the mining industry.
