Heavy equipment operator

Marnevic Construction Ltd. is situated in Fox Creek, AB and is hiring a Heavy equipment operator to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Work schedule: Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate heavy equipment.
• The candidate must clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks.
• The candidate must understand the purpose and proper use of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
• The candidate must conduct pre-operational checks on equipment.
• The candidate must secure special attachments to equipment.
• The candidate must operate two-way radios and other communication equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees.

Security and Safety

• The candidate must be able to pass a driving record check (abstract).

• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
