Job Description

The candidate must appraise clients' needs or eligibility for specific services.
The candidate must implement life skills workshops.
The candidate must assess clients’ relevant skill strengths and development needs.
The candidate must communicate using sign language.
The candidate must develop, co-ordinate, and implement the delivery of specific services within the community.
The candidate must supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses.
The candidate must implement behaviour management programs.
The candidate must liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients.
The candidate must assist clients/guests with special needs.
The candidate must accompany clients to appointments and social outings.

Job Requirements

The candidate must be fluent in English.
The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.

Work Setting

The candidate must work in a group home to provide care, supervision, and support to residents, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
The candidate should work in associations and non-profit organizations, a legal entity organized and operated for a collective, public or social benefit.
