Heavy-duty equipment operator

City Home Construction Inc ( Caledon East, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Heavy-duty equipment operator. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time.

Job Description

• The candidate must interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to plan methods or sequences of operation.
• The candidate must operate heavy equipment.
• The candidate must read blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks.
• The candidate must measure distance, volume, length, and weight.
• The candidate must operate computer-controlled equipment.
• The candidate must understand the purpose and proper use of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
• The candidate must complete onboard and other logs.
• The candidate must conduct pre-operational checks on equipment.
• The candidate must prepare accident reports.
• The candidate must secure special attachments to equipment.
• The candidate must operate two-way radios and other communication equipment.
• The candidate must perform minor repairs to equipment.
• The candidate must operate hydraulic pumping systems.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
