Heavy-duty equipment mechanic

BKD Mechanical Services is situated in Stony Plain, AB and is hiring a Heavy-duty equipment mechanic to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Morning, Day, Weekend.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must have 3 to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be well-organized.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
