Now hiring: Health care aide at Points West Living Stettler (Cold Lake) in Cold Lake, AB. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Work schedule: Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must perform other duties related to patient care and comfort.
• The candidate must serve meal trays and feed patients.
• The candidate must weigh, lift, turn, and position patients.
• The candidate must supervise patients’ exercise routines.
• The candidate must transport patients between care facilities.
• The candidate must transport patients in wheelchairs or stretchers.
• The candidate must answer call signals to determine patients’ needs.
• The candidate must complete reports.
• The candidate must participate in staff meetings.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
