Headquarters Restaurant & Bar in Sherwood Park, AB is seeking a self-motivated Head chef. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, On call, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must estimate the amount and costs of supplies and food items.
• The candidate must supervise activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers.
• The candidate must create new recipes.
• The candidate must instruct cooks in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food.
• The candidate must supervise cooks and other kitchen staff.
• The candidate must prepare and cook meals or specialty foods.
• The candidate must plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.
• The candidate must recruit and hire staff.
• The candidate must supervise activities of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs, and cooks.
• The candidate must train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.

• The candidate should work in decoration delivery, banquet arrangement, table setup, and menu design and preparation in a catering firm.
• The candidate must work in a resort to provide guest services, manage operations, and ensure an excellent client experience.
