RUBICON ORGANICS INC in Vancouver, BC is seeking a self-motivated Harvesting supervisor. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, On call, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must direct agricultural crop deleafing activities.
• The candidate must organize tasks to accomplish the work.
• The candidate must assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures.
• The candidate must maintain financial and production records.
• The candidate must co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers.
• The candidate must ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are strictly followed.
• The candidate must maintain quality control and production records.
• The candidate must supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations.
• The candidate must maintain accurate work records and logs.
• The candidate must hire and train staff.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must perform general farm duties.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
