The Apple Bin in Okanagan Falls, BC is seeking a self-motivated Harvesting labourer. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Terms of employment: Seasonal employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must apply the technique of hoeing between the row.
• The candidate must clean crops effectively.
• The candidate must grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, colour, and volume to fetch a high price in the market.
• The candidate will be responsible for harvesting vegetables by hand.
• The candidate must pick row and orchard crops.
• The candidate must clean work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
