DBA Studio Image Hair & Beauty Salon is situated in Surrey, BC and is hiring a Hairstylist to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Work schedule: Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must advise clients on beauty care treatments.
• The candidate must analyze hair and scalp conditions to determine appropriate treatments.
• The candidate must book appointments.
• The candidate must cut and trim hair according to client instructions or preferences.
• The candidate must provide custom hair and scalp treatment.
• The candidate must shampoo customers’ hair.
• The candidate must provide other hair treatments, such as waving, straightening, and tinting, and also provide scalp conditioning massages.
• The candidate must supervise apprentices/students in training.
• The candidate must apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to color, frost, or streak hair.
• The candidate must apply hair extensions.
• The candidate must clean and style wigs and hair pieces.
• The candidate must suggest hairstyles compatible with clients’ physical features and preferences.
• The candidate must perform receptionist duties.
• The candidate must maintain and order supplies.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
