Kamiya Hairdressing in Toronto, ON is inviting applications for the position of Hairstylist. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must book appointments.
• The candidate must shampoo customers’ hair.
• The candidate must apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to color, frost, or streak hair.
• The candidate must cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair.
• The candidate must suggest hairstyles compatible with clients’ physical features and preferences.
• The candidate must perform receptionist duties.
• The candidate must maintain and order supplies.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• Equivalent experience is acceptable.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio, performing hair care services in a well-organized environment and maintaining tools and equipment properly to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
