Maritime Inn Antigonish is situated in Antigonish, NS and is hiring a Guest services manager to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, On call, Flexible hours, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations.
• The candidate must recruit and hire staff.
• The candidate must supervise staff.
• The candidate must conduct performance reviews.
• The candidate must negotiate with suppliers for the provision of materials and supplies.
• The candidate must arrange for and oversee maintenance activities.
• The candidate must enforce policies and procedures.
• The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
• The candidate must assist clients/guests with special needs.
• The candidate must establish work schedules.
• The candidate must manage events.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• Or equivalent experience.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
