Guest service representative

Grail Springs Wellness Retreat in Bancroft, ON is inviting applications for the position of Guest service representative. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. We are offering a Casual employment - Part time opportunity. Shift timings include: Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must register arriving guests and assign rooms.
• The candidate must take, cancel, and change room reservations.
• The candidate must provide information on hotel facilities and services.
• The candidate must process guests’ departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
• The candidate must balance cash, prepare balance sheets, cash reports, and related financial documentation.
• The candidate must answer telephone calls and relay messages accurately.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Equivalent professional experience accepted.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in the hospitality industry to provide excellent guest services, manage operations, and ensure a high-quality experience for clients and patrons.
• The candidate must be able to work in a hotel, motel, or resort with additional sports and leisure facilities, set in a natural environment that attracts visitors beyond the accommodations.
• The candidate must be able to work in a spa center.
