Grocery clerk

Metro Marquis Repentigny in Repentigny, QC is inviting applications for the position of Grocery clerk. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must obtain articles for customers from shelves or stockrooms.
• The candidate must direct customers to the location of articles sought.
• The candidate must stock shelves and display areas.
• The candidate must keep stock clean and in order.
• The candidate must perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a supermarket/grocery store self-service shop offering a wide variety of food, beverages, and household products, organized into sections.
