Martin Saliba Greenhouses in Milton, ON is inviting applications for the position of Greenhouse worker. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Seasonal employment or Full time position. Shift timings include: Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must perform greenhouse cleaning.
• The candidate must mix and prepare soils.
• The candidate must pot and re-pot plants.
• The candidate must transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings.
• The candidate must apply fertilizers.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
• The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
• The candidate should work in staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees.
