Greenhouse worker

Domric International Ltd. in Ruthven, ON is inviting applications for the position of Greenhouse worker. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. The schedule involves Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must assist in pruning trees, shrubs, and plants.
• The candidate must transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings.
• The candidate must report signs of insect or disease damage.
• The candidate must water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
• The candidate must clean work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must be able to work at heights.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
