Greenhouse labourer

Quik's Farm Ltd. in Chilliwack, BC is inviting applications for the position of Greenhouse labourer. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Seasonal employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Early morning, Weekend, , 06:00 to 16:30 shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must clean crops effectively.
• The candidate must cut horticultural crops.
• The candidate must perform greenhouse cleaning.
• The candidate must plant bulbs and seeds.
• The candidate must clean work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate will be required to work in confined spaces.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
• The candidate should work in staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees.
